Normalize supplier responses

Heated Massage Recliner Quote Comparison Checklist

Compare offers only after product configuration, quantity units, exact-model evidence, destination and delivery scope are aligned. This checklist records decisions; it does not rate suppliers or declare a chair suitable.

Questions to settle before placing offers side by side

Product input

State the requested massage track or mechanism, recline functions, heat zone and control behavior, chair dimensions and user-fit questions, controller and power configuration, upholstery, accessories and intended business setting. Ask each candidate to identify the exact offered model and every departure from this baseline.

Order input

List pieces by configuration, finish and power version; sample quantity; US destination; requested timing; carton and assembly expectations; and required warnings, labels, manuals or exact-model documents. State optional budget with currency and whether it applies per unit or to the full order.

Commercial denominator

Record currency, quoted quantity, unit or order basis, delivery term, freight scope, tooling or setup, samples, testing, packaging, duties and destination charges only as the written quotation states them. Unknown costs remain unresolved rather than being estimated as facts.

Separate comparable evidence from open decisions

Comparable

Buyer-provided requirements, a supplier’s model-specific written response, identified samples and documents can be recorded by revision. A useful comparison confirms the same mechanism request, heat and controller scope, dimensional questions, upholstery and accessories, quantity, packaging and US destination.

Unresolved

Blank dimensions, unclear power versions, unspecified carton contents, related-series documents, missing warnings, unconfirmed assembly materials, excluded accessories and vague delivery assumptions stay open. A public reference cannot fill those gaps for a supplier.

Buyer decision

The buyer determines whether an alternative is acceptable, which sample and document reviews are required, and who assesses electrical, furniture safety, labeling, import and claims questions. Supplier preference labels describe the buyer’s cost and service tradeoffs, not a verified tier.

Do not compare one factory’s ex-works chair-only figure with another factory’s delivered figure that includes packaging, accessories or destination costs. Align scope first, then review total procurement cost. No percentage saving or lowest-price claim is established by this page.

Prepare the comparison baseline

  • Exact chair functions, dimensions, materials and power questions
  • Quantity by configuration and US destination
  • Carton, assembly, sample, timing and document requirements
